A very easy method is by covering the seeds with some damp peat, so the seeds will not dry, but no hard crust is formed on their bodies, that can prevent germination. Garlic has a very specific temperature requirements, to form the tubers. You do not need a large container for garlic sprouts, with the depth of about 4 inches. To plant an individual clove you can plant them about 1 inch deep and make sure to water the plant regularly. The stems will grow in about a week. Let them grow up to 8-10 inches before you start the harvest. Cut accordingly as you need and leave the rest. You usually only get one growth from each stem, but they may germinate again, but the quality is lower than the first one, so it is much better to start to grow new stems just after you harvest the plants.

When the roots have reached several inches long, move them in a shallow container and let them continue to grow. You can harvest them when the sooths are green, leaving about 1 inch of the stems letting them grow back.



Tomatoes are tropical plants. Tomatoes are very likely to grow too large. The tomato seeds germinate in a short time. After the seeds are planted, then they will grow to reach as high as 3 to 4 inches, and then they can be moved into a permanent pot and make sure they have full sunlight at least 10 hours per day.
